The UKEV Forum 2019 on Tues 10th Dec and will this year on be in London at the world renowned Francis Crick Institute.
Plenary speakers include Shannon Stott (Harvard), Sean Davidson (Hatter Institute, UCL), Mike Dustin (Kennedy Institute, Uni of Oxford) and as always there will be opportunities for oral, poster and lightning presentations.

…please send your abstract of no more than 250 words to UKEV2019@ukev.org.uk. Please include all authors, institutions and external funding and state whether you wish to be considered for oral/poster/lightning presentations.
Let us know if you are the presenting author and an early stage researcher as you may be eligible for a limited number of travel bursaries (the recipient must be a current member of UKEV and will be asked to submit a separate personal statement for consideration for the award). Abstract submission deadline 30th October 2019.

Finally, as a wrap up to our EVFestival the RVC hopes to a Science Comedy night “Cells Talk” (tbc) at our Camden Campus on the evening of 10th December. If you would like to get involved either taking a turn at some science-related stand-up comedy, have a stall or activity you think the public will be interested in or just want come along to find out more (and take advantage of the cheap bar!) please email UKEV2019@ukev.org.uk subject heading “comedy”… Watch this space!
